Since When?!
Since when did I become a member of a nation where it is offensive for me to have faith, morals and a belief in God. When did it become by business if the gay couple next door are living together and raising a family like many other couples who can legally get married but don't? Why does the working class have to support a system that is riddled by a parasitic group of people who have learned through generations of working it like, my ancestors worked for a better life? How come our leaders can give away tons of my tax dollars to help countries who gives us an approval rating that usually dangles somewhere below 50 %, and then the money never reaches the hands of the people who really need it; their citizens? Who in their right mind would grow tons of food and produce goods and put it in storage just to go buy food and goods from other people at inflated prices the way we do with oil? Did I mention the countries we buy the oil from basically hate us and that we have to borrow money from other nation's who, basically hate us, in order to pay for those foods and goods? How am I supposed to teach my children to love their neighbor and treat everyone the same when many people they meet will not only likely harm them in some way, either physically or emotionally and also teach them to protect themselves? How do I teach them to trust others when so many people out there will change the things they support and believe in just to progress their agenda, regardless of how badly it contradicts what they stood for the last tie they spoke up? How do I show my kids to turn the other cheek while at the same time teach them the self confidence to take up for themselves and the things they believe? How do you trust groups that one day are screaming for the woman's right to erase a mistake she made when they are avidly trying destroy the careers of woman who simply chose to keep those "mistakes"? I see why the world hates us, some of their reasons validated, some of them fabricated. I understand that the world is not perfect because we as people are flawed. I understand that we all have different views on some things while at the same time totally agreeing on others. I would love to live in a world where we as humans loved and help one another for the betterment of our race instead of fighting over resources, land and money, but am not Naive enough to believe that even if we all held hands and sang "Combya" everyday that we could all just learn to get along and that things would ever change. They may get better if we all saw each other the same, but they would not change completely because for the most part everyone is out for his and theirs first. That is human nature.Ii know the world is not fair, and I am not sure it was meant to be but, I am sure that it would all run much smoother if everyone tried to be. I believe there are things out there that should connect us all, like having a soul and wishing all well but then I know that those two things mean differing things to us all. There are so many things in this world that are so screwed up and where destined to be so, but there are so many things we could change if we all came together and tried to make relationships out of mutual respect and love of mankind. I know this will never happen, I'm just saying.
